As all the soap powder, gel, liquitab and solution adverts now show, you don't have to boil your clothes anymore!
Washing at 30 degrees is the perfect start to help reduce your 'carbon footprint'. But why not take it one step further and cut out the chemicals you wash your clothes with completely? It's lovely to have your clothes smell like a ylang ylang field in the summer rain but all the chemicals used to create that beautiful fragrance needn't be there. Ecoballs is a great example, washing without the chemicals gives your clothes a real new lease of life and it's such a CLEAN clean it doesn't irritate sensitive skin....

Why not go one step further and cut out the use of a tumble dryer too? Get your summer-field smell for free and put your washing in the garden to dry on an airer?
